3. Shipping Origin
To offer you unique boutique designs at the best possible price, we ship directly from our international fulfillment partners. This "direct-to-consumer" model allows us to cut out the middleman and pass those savings directly to you.
As a result, shipments may occasionally arrive in multiple packages and at different times.
4. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
Since we ship internationally to offer a curated global collection, your order may be subject to local government-imposed fees. Here is what you can expect:
- Tax-Free Checkout: As a boutique shop, we do not collect GST/HST at the time of purchase. This keeps your initial checkout price lower.
- Duty-Free Threshold: Good news! Most orders under $150 CAD are typically exempt from customs duties.
- At Delivery: For orders above this threshold, or for local sales tax, your local post office (Canada Post) may collect these fees and a standard postal handling fee upon delivery. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number.
Tracking information may take 24–72 hours to become active. Customers are encouraged to monitor their tracking information for the most up-to-date status.
6. Incorrect Address & Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. Boutique Montréal is not responsible for replacement or refund if an order is lost due to an incorrect address.
If a package is marked as "Delivered" but you have not received it, please contact the carrier directly or reach out to us so we can assist you in the investigation.
